Our first meeting of the year will occur on Thursday, September 18, 2014 at Arno's Ristorante at 141 W 38th Street (between Broadway and 7th Avenue). Cocktails will begin at 5:30 p.m. Dinner will be served at 6:15 p.m., with the program beginning shortly thereafter. Our first program entitled College Football, Basketball, & the NLRB: How Will Collective Bargaining, Pay and Other Labor Issues Affect College Sports? Distinguished panelists include Marc C. Edelman, Esq., Law Professor and Sports Business Scholar, Joseph Farelli, Esq., counsel to unions at Pitta & Giblin, and frequent commentator on labor and employment issues in sports, and Jonathan L. Israel , Esq., partner at Foley & Lardner LLP and former Assistant General Counsel to the NBA. 
The program will be moderated by Margaret C. Thering, Esq., Epstein, Becker & Green, P.C.
